Liverpool unveiled their third kit for the upcoming 2018/19 season by utilising their partnership with Konami’s, Pro Evolution Soccer franchise. The unveiling represents the first time a club has used video game graphics to launch a new kit.

The kit has been designed to pay homage to fan favourite strips from 1987-91, paying special attention to the kit Liverpool wore during the 1989/90 season in which Liverpool last won the First Division title.

Liverpool entered a three-year global deal with Konami in 2016 and under the agreement PES players have been able to enjoy the full Liverpool experience, including: fully licensed kits, Anfield Stadium and player IP.
