Premier League champions, Manchester City, have announced their first-ever esports-specific sponsorship deal with gaming equipment and accessory company Turtle Beach. Turtle Beach are City’s official esports and gaming headset partner and will have their logo present on the sleeve of the Manchester City shirt, whilst the players will use Turtle Beach’s range of professional audio equipment, as well as other gear and accessories during esports competitions.

City players will wear the Turtle Beach range for the first time at the FIFA eWorld Cup, which takes place later this month at London’s O2 Arena as City compete against the top 32 FIFA players in the world.

The FIFA eWorld Cup will be live streamed across various platforms including FIFA’s own channels and Sky Sports digital channels. Over 20 million people tried to qualify for the three-day tournament in London – where the eventual winner will take home $250,000.
