Manchester United and official ride partner, Uber, kicked off their global activation campaign Destination United last week in India. The campaign aims to collapse the distance between the fans and United by bringing them closer to the team they passionately support, no matter where they are in the world.
United and Uber brought Old Trafford to one devoted Red Devil in Bengaluru, India through Uber’s 360 Old Trafford Experience. A 360-experience pod has been created to encapsulate the essence of the Theatre of Dreams. The Old Trafford Destination United experience took place in Bengaluru from 27 to 29 April, and included an appearance from club legend and IPL player, Wes Brown.
As part of the campaign, Uber found India’s most devoted fan, Pratham Prabu, who has been a Red Devil his entire life but has never visited Old Trafford. However, during the game against Arsenal on Sunday (April 29th), Pratham and his family had the opportunity alongside 75,000 fans inside the stadium and millions of supporters around the globe to see himself on the digital advertising boards.
In April, the club gave an Uber driver from Brazil the opportunity of a lifetime to watch his beloved United live at Old Trafford for the first time. Watch the video below.
