Current FA WSL 1 Champions, Manchester City, have made league history by becoming the first women’s team to secure an official sleeve sponsor, with Asian direct selling company QNET. The partnership sees QNET deepen its longstanding relationship with Manchester City, having been a global partner of the men’s team for several years.
The rise of women’s football continues and partnering with one of Asia’s leading companies will help develop and grow the fan base of Man City’s women’s team. Head of Manchester City’s women’s football, Gavin Makel, said: “we hope we can bring the magic of women’s football to even more people and provide our supporters across the globe with the opportunity to get even closer to Manchester City’s women’s team.”
In addition to the usual sponsorship rights, LED advertising, social media placement, backdrop positioning. QNET will also receive bespoke Manchester City player content which will be developed throughout the 2018/19 season.
